About Lalaounis
Ilias Lalaounis was a 4th generation jeweler, born in Greece, that began his career in the 1930s as an apprentice at his uncle's firm, Zolotas . He took over the firm in 1940 and designed there until 1968. In 1969, he opened his own firm, Greek Gold - Ilias Lalaounis, S.A. Worked primarily in gold and silver.
