Danish furniture marks can identify a cabinetmaker, factory or designer; DENMARK wording alone does not identify the producer.
Look for an impressed or burned-in company name beneath the seat or top and a separate model or designer label. A Danish Furnituremakers’ Control emblem is an industry control mark rather than the name of one manufacturer.
Keep the factory mark, control emblem and model number separate. Compare dimensions and joinery with the named design. A Danish-style form produced elsewhere needs its own manufacturer identification.
