About Walter Lampl
During WWII some Lampl jewelry was produced in Mexico. Carl-Art also produced some of the firm's jewelry. The company made vanity items including compacts and specialized in intricate bracelet charms, including puffy and padlock hearts. Its enameled birthstone hearts were patented along with other designs. Walter Lampl died in 1945; his wife Sylvia and then his son Walter, Jr. managed the company. The family closed the business in 1959.
