About AL-KA Kaiser
August Alboth founded a porcelain-decorating business in Coburg in 1872. His successors moved it to Kronach in 1898. The Alboth and Kaiser families developed the AL-KA Kunst business, later opening a factory in Staffelstein. It became Kaiser-Porzellanmanufaktur Staffelstein in 1970. Following insolvency in 2001, PM Kapital acquired it and continued the Kaiser name.
