About Andrew Palmer, Andy Palmer, Andrew Jay Palmer
Andrew Jay Palmer, born in Jamestown, New York, in 1966, studied studio art at James Madison University and education at SUNY Cortland. He taught school art and coordinated ceramics at Cornell University. He makes wheel-thrown functional white stoneware, altering vessel walls and feet to emphasise clay's pliability and using varied glaze colours and textures.
