About Antonio Prieto
Antonio Prieto (1912–1967), born in Spain, studied at Alfred University from 1943 to 1946. He taught at the California College of Arts and Crafts from 1946 to 1950 and at Mills College from 1950 to 1967. He made functional stoneware and porcelain and developed the Mills College ceramics collection.
