About Aysha Peltz
Aysha Peltz received a BFA from Alfred University in 1995 and an MFA there in 2000. She makes functional vessels thrown and altered while the clay is fresh, often at an unusually large scale. She works mainly in porcelain, using flowing glazes to emphasize structure, and began teaching at Bennington College in 2006.
