About Blackhurst & Hulme

Blackhurst & Hulme made china at the Belgrave Works, Longton. The business followed Blackhurst, Hulme & Berkin after Samuel Berkin left in August 1888. Later partners included Alfred Edwin Blackhurst, William Thomas Baxter and Wilfred Beswick. Baxter left in 1917, and the firm became bankrupt in 1932.
