About Blair & Co, Blairs Ltd, Blairs (Longton) Ltd
Blair & Co continued the Beaconsfield Pottery, Longton, after John and Henry Beck left Beck, Blair & Co in November 1879. The china manufacturer promoted gas firing and traded as Blairs Ltd from 1912. Thomas C. Wild & Sons acquired it around 1923 and renamed it Blairs (Longton) Ltd; production ended in 1930.
