About Blue John Pottery Ltd
Blue John Pottery began around 1936 as a pottery dealer and wholesaler run by members of the Lockett family in Hanley. It started manufacturing general and ornamental earthenware around 1939. Products included vases, teapots, nursery ware and football-themed money boxes. The business closed in September 1975.
