About Bremer Schmidt
Bremer & Schmidt began porcelain production in 1896 and expanded before the First World War. The factory came under East German state supervision in 1958 and was nationalised in 1973, joining other Eisenberg factories in V.E.B. Spezialkombinat Porzellan Eisenberg. It closed in 1976.
