About former Pirkenhammer Brezova

A porcelain factory opened near Karlovy Vary in 1803 under F. Hacke. Fischer and Reichenbach took over in 1811, followed by Christian Fischer in 1846 and Fischer and Mieg in 1853. Around 1920 it joined EPIAG and was nationalised after 1945. Its 1830–1860 porcelain included Empire-style wares, miniatures and figures.
