About Bridge Street Pottery Co
Bridge Street Pottery Co was a Burslem decorator and wholesaler of dinner sets and hotel and catering ware. It bought undecorated blanks, principally from Alfred Meakin, and applied its designs rather than manufacturing the bodies. Founder Samuel Harrison Tittensor also directed Washington Pottery. Bridge Street remained active after 1949, but its closure date is uncertain.
