About Carl Teichert Meissen
Carl Teichert founded the Meissen factory in 1863 to produce stove tiles. Porcelain tableware and figurines followed in 1880, including onion-pattern wares. Porcelain production stopped in 1929 and Hutschenreuther purchased the onion-pattern department.
