About Charles Allerton & Sons
Charles Allerton continued the former Allerton, Brough & Green business with his sons in 1859 at Park Works, Longton. After his death in 1863 the family continued the firm. Cauldon acquired it in 1912, and George Jones & Sons took it over in 1932. Allerton-named production ceased during the Second World War.
