About Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd (China)
The Co-operative Wholesale Society made bone china at the Windsor Pottery in Longton under the Windsor and later Clarence names. The source records a possible overlap between its stated 1911 start and Hill & Co.’s operation. Hammersley acquired the business in 1971 and ran it as Royal Windsor.
