About Crown Winsor
Earthenware manufacturer at the Sylvan Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Following the liquidation of Shaw and Copestake in 1982, a workers co-operative traded as Longton Ceramics. United Co-operative Society took over about eighteen months later and used the name Crown Winsor. Production included former SylvaC models. Crown Winsor closed in 1989.
