About Dan Finnegan
Dan Finnegan was born in Buffalo, New York, in 1955. He trained with Ray Finch at Winchcombe Pottery in 1978–79, managed Fredericksburg Pottery from 1980 to 1983 and established his own studio there in 1984. He is known for wood-fired and salt-glazed functional stoneware and sculptural work. In 2001 he founded Liberty Town Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg.
