About Daphne Roehr Hatcher

Daphne Roehr Hatcher earned a BFA at the University of North Texas in 1976 and apprenticed with Michael Leach in Devon, England, from 1976 to 1979. She and Gary Hatcher established Pine Mills Pottery in Texas in 1979. Her functional wheel-thrown and slab-built stoneware uses controlled abstract coloured glazes and wood firing in a Bourry Box kiln.
