About Dunashevs’ factory
The Dunashev factory was established at Turygino in the Bronnitskiy district of Moscow province. Sources cited in the entry disagree between 1805 and 1833 for its foundation by Zakhar Dunashev. It passed to Vasiliy in the 1840s and to Mefodiy Vasilyevich in the late 1850s. An early-twentieth-century partnership continued until 1918. The source distinguishes early initial marks from those of Mefodiy Vasilyevich’s period.
