Edward and Charles Challinor made earthenware and ironstone at Fenton Potteries, Stoke-on-Trent, after the earlier E. Challinor & Co business. Products included white granite, printed and sponged earthenware, table services and embossed jugs for export markets. Challinor & Mayer operated concurrently at the same works. From 1892 Charles continued as C. Challinor & Co.
