About E Asbury & Co
Edward Asbury continued the china business at the Prince of Wales Works, Longton, after his former partner Titus Hammersley died in 1875. The business became a limited company in 1905 and was voluntarily wound up in May 1925. The 1863 date used in advertising refers to the works’ establishment rather than Asbury’s business.
