About Elektra Porcelain Co Ltd
Elektra Porcelain Co Ltd manufactured earthenware at the Edensor Works in Longton. During the wartime concentration scheme it shared production with Avon Art Pottery at the Jubilee Works and made export wares. The firms continued as associates after 1945 and began voluntary winding-up proceedings in October 1968. Elektra used Zanobia Ware from its founding in 1924 and introduced Vulcan Ware around 1940.
