About Era Art Pottery
Era Art Pottery was a decorating business at Crown Devon Pottery in Stoke, wholly owned by S. Fielding & Co. It decorated biscuit ware made by Crown Devon rather than manufacturing it. Era sold wares under its own name and decorated cellulose-finished pieces for Fielding. It ceased trading in 1947, with little production after 1940. Ranleigh Ware was one of its trade names and was later reintroduced by another Fielding subsidiary, Baifield Productions.
