About E. Roddy (&Co)
E. Roddy made earthenware and tiles in Newcastle Street, Burslem, including jugs, vases, character jugs and experimental art pottery. Ernest Roddy exhibited tile fireplaces in 1937, and Roddy Ware coronation mugs were made in 1953. The source rejects a published 1925–1928 operation range as inconsistent with this later production; a closing date is not established.
