About Excelsior Pottery
The Excelsior Pottery site in Trenton is documented in operation from 1879 to 1909. An 1885 newspaper account described the rapid expansion of the Willets Manufacturing Company works from the nucleus of an earlier Trenton pottery. The site produced a wide range of tableware, art pottery and electrical porcelain.
