F. & R. Pratt of Fenton made earthenware, terracotta, Rockingham ware and decorated pot lids. Felix Edward Pratt and artist-engraver Jesse Austin developed multicolour printed lids and related wares from the 1840s. H. T. Robinson acquired the business around 1916 and moved it to Cauldon Place Works in 1920. The name later passed through Harrison, E. Brain and Wedgwood; Coalport continued using original Pratt prints.
