About Floral China Co. Ltd.
L. D. Manning started Floral China Co. around 1940 in Gate Street, Longton. Production moved to Sutherland Road around 1947. Ridgways (Bedford Works), part of the Lawley Group, acquired it in December 1949; it then traded as Adderley Floral & Figurine China Co.
