Georg Bruno Foedisch and Arved von Roemer founded Roemer & Foedisch in 1866. It became Porzellanfabrik Fraureuth AG in 1891 and added an art department in 1916. In 1919 it acquired a Wallendorf porcelain factory for its art division and also bought a decorating studio in Lichte. The company went bankrupt in 1926.
