About Hertel Jacob
Jacob and Schödl established the Rehau factory in 1906; Hertel later became Jacob’s partner and the business was restructured as Hertel, Jacob & Co. in 1913. Melitta took over in 1968. The source history says porcelain manufacture ceased in 1969, although some mark captions extend to 1979.
