About Hibbert & Boughey
William Hibbert and Joseph Shelley Boughey made china and earthenware at Cyples Old Pottery, Longton. They registered patterns in 1888–1890. After Hibbert’s death in 1890 the partnership dissolved; Boughey continued and later partnered with Samuel T. Wiltshaw.
