About Hilditch & Hopwood
Hilditch & Hopwood made china and earthenware at Church Street Works, Longton. William Hopwood joined John Hilditch in 1830. After both men died, executors continued the firm until March 1859. Later operations at the works continued through separate Hilditch and Hopwood interests.
