About James Dudson
James Dudson continued his family’s pottery business in Hanley. The works made earthenware, majolica, jasperware and ironstone and exhibited at the Great Exhibitions of 1851 and 1862. After his death in 1882, his son James Thomas continued the business, which was renamed J. T. Dudson in 1888.
