About Jane Shellenbarger
Jane Shellenbarger earned a BFA at Kansas City Art Institute in 1993 and an MFA at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1996. She worked at the Archie Bray Foundation and taught at Kansas City Art Institute, Northern Michigan University and Rochester Institute of Technology. Her thrown and altered porcelain and dark-clay vessels often use atmospheric firing and additional firings for surface depth.
