About Joe Molinaro

Joe Molinaro studied at Ball State University and Southern Illinois University and taught at Eastern Kentucky University from 1989 to 2016. His functional and sculptural pottery alters vessel forms, drawing on research into traditional ceramics in Ecuador, the Caribbean and Mexico. He uses incised contour lines and geometric additions to complicate the reading of forms.
