About Johann Seltmann
Johann and Christian Wilhelm Seltmann established a porcelain manufactory in Vohenstrauß in 1901. They parted in 1909, with Johann continuing at Vohenstrauß and Christian opening a factory in Weiden. Johann died in 1921 and his sons Robert and Christian took over. The business was rebuilt after wartime damage and became a limited company in 1975. It joined Schirnding and J. Kronester in SKV-Porzellan-Union in 1993; the Vohenstrauß works closed in 1995.
