The source lists & CO and ADAMS & CO as impressed marks.
John Adams & Co operated the Victoria Works in St. James Street, Broad Street, Hanley, producing earthenware, jasper ware, parian and majolica. The firm had London showrooms at 30 Ely Place. It traded as J. Adams & Co until 1873, when it became Adams & Bromley; the source distinguishes it from earlier Adams firms at Stoke and Tunstall.
