About John & William Ridgway

John and William Ridgway joined their father Job at the Cauldon Place works in 1802 and became partners in 1808. They continued after his death in 1813. The brothers inherited the Bell Works in 1830 and dissolved their partnership that year: John retained Cauldon Place, while William took the Bell Works. They manufactured earthenware and china.
