About John Fassbinder
John Fassbinder (1931–2014) studied at the University of Washington and Scripps College/Claremont Graduate School. He worked as a studio potter and taught at several California and Washington colleges. He made wheel-thrown functional stoneware using textured areas, applied clay decoration, coloured glazes, underglaze pencil and brushwork.
