About Jones and Walley
Elijah Jones and Edward Walley manufactured earthenware at the Villa Pottery in Cobridge. Their output included relief-moulded jugs and smaller quantities of transferware. Jones left in February 1845 and Walley continued alone; the source prefers an approximate 1835 start over the conflicting 1841 date.
