About Ken Ferguson Kenneth Ferguson
Ken Ferguson (1928–2004) made wheel-thrown and slab-built pots, mainly in high-fired stoneware, with occasional porcelain, salt and raku work. His forms drew on folklore, mythology and Japanese Bizen and Oribe pottery. He directed the Archie Bray Foundation from 1958 to 1964 and taught at the Kansas City Art Institute from 1964 to 1996.
