About Kirklands (Etruria) Ltd
Kirklands (Etruria) Ltd succeeded Kirkland & Co around 1938 after A. E. Gray acquired an interest. The Albion Pottery was damaged in 1940 and closed under wartime concentration in 1941; Kirkland and Gray continued at Burgess & Leigh's Middleport Pottery. The company was voluntarily wound up in 1947.
