About Korzec
The Korzec faience and porcelain factory began under a 1783 contract between Prince Józef Klemens Czartoryski and Franciszek Mezer. Porcelain trials began in 1789. The Mezer brothers were followed by specialists from Sèvres; faience production moved to Horodnitsa in 1807. The factory declined in 1824–1832, with final liquidation and stock sales continuing until 1847.
