About Krister

Carl Franz Krister established his porcelain manufactory in Waldenburg in 1831. It became a stock company in 1920 and joined Rosenthal in 1921. Nationalized after the Second World War, it continued under Krister and later Krzysztof names, introducing the Wawel brand in 1953.
