Ambrosius Lamm founded a porcelain decorating studio in Dresden in 1887. It decorated Meissen blanks and later porcelain from other factories, with floral and mythological scenes and subjects after Watteau. Lamm used a lamb mark and covered original manufacturer marks with a golden rose. Clara Lamm and Rudolf Pitschke took over in 1934. The studio ceased operating after the 1945 bombing of Dresden.
