About Mark Issenberg
Mark Issenberg makes functional stoneware, including bonsai planters, using thrown and altered, slab and extruded methods. His work uses cone 10 firing and ash glazes with directional drips and mottled surfaces. He operated a pottery in Miami from 1975 to 1995 and Lookout Mountain Pottery in Rising Fawn, Georgia, from 1999.
