Mayer & Elliot made earthenware and blue printed ware at the Fountain Place and Dale Hall Works in Longport, Burslem. The firm followed Mayer Bros & Elliot and was succeeded by Liddle Elliot & Son. Joseph Mayer and Liddle Elliot dissolved their partnership in April 1860.
