About Milet Sevres mark
Félix Optat Milet established Céramique d’Art around 1867 while also working at the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. He left the national factory in 1879 to focus on his own business and won a gold medal at the 1889 Paris World Fair. His son Paul gradually took over management and won a gold medal at the 1900 World Fair. Henri Milet succeeded him in 1931 and managed the Sèvres factory until 1971.
