About Olevsk
Karant and Kushnirsky founded the Olevsk porcelain factory in 1909. It was rebuilt after a 1912 fire, nationalized and closed in 1922. A new Olevsk Porcelain Factory formed from its assets in 1926, later producing tableware, figures and electrotechnical porcelain.
