About Pearl Pottery Co

Pearl Pottery took over the Brook Street works in Hanley from Wood and Bennett in July 1892. It made earthenware, including general tableware, Cranston Ware and Edna Best Art Pottery. New Hall Pottery bought the works in 1936 and the business continued as New Pearl Pottery Co. Ltd. It closed under the Wartime Concentration Scheme in 1941 and did not reopen.
